Frequently asked questions.
Short answers to the questions people ask most. If yours is not here, reach out at Contact.
What does the alpha include?
You can design a validated edge system end to end. Set your constraints and the factory returns parametric CAD, a rationale-backed bill of materials, and a thermal check that confirms the design holds. Sourcing and fabrication are on the roadmap.
Is it open to everyone yet?
Not yet. The alpha is invite-only while we harden the product. Tell us your use-case and we set you up with a seat. See Getting started for the full path.
What do I get back?
A complete design you can read and trust. That means parametric CAD for the chassis and internals, a bill of materials where every part carries the reasoning for why it is there, and thermal simulation across burst and sustained load.
How do I request a run?
Send the factory your four dials: workload, power budget, form factor, and environment. Start at Contact. A curated config comes back validated. A novel one comes back as a preview with an explicit request-a-full-run state, never a faked result.
What kind of machines does it design?
Edge systems built for local compute, with a focus on Linux at the edge. The common case is local AI and LLM inference. It also handles vision, sensor-fusion, and mixed workloads across form factors from a briefcase to a rack unit.
Can the factory build the machine for me? SOON
Today the factory hands you a validated design. Sourcing the parts and fabricating the machine are on the roadmap, so the loop from a use-case to a finished box keeps closing. It is not available yet.
Where do I report a security issue?
